applicable to'this- section and farm a part of the Contract.
2. Perform all work awarded to the crafts of this contractor by
reason of labor agreements and jurisdictions at no additional
cost to the Owner*
SCOPE:
This section covers the labor, materials, and equipment necessary
to complete tasks including, but not limited tv:
1. Furnish and install three (3) new �., 738 MBH output haIF
t.
water boilers and associated equipment for heating
system.
2. Provide breeching and stacks for new heating system hat
water boilers and domestic hot water boiler.
3, Provide and install one (1) new 546 MBH output domestic
hot water boiler with integral pump.
4. Provide and install new drip pans on four (4) new hot
water boilers,
5 . Provide start-up and tune-up of new bailers.

BEATING HOT WATER BOILERS:
1. General:
- see Section. 15100.
This Contractor shall furnish three (3) 2470 MSH input natural
gas firmed (minimum 84% thermal efficiency) hot water hailers.
2. Bailer Des ign:
A. The boiler shall be constructed using a copper fin water
tube design.

B. Burners: Gas burner assembly shall be an integral dart
of the bailer. Burners shall be tubular alloy steel.
Burner shall utilize a hot plate ignition type system
with flame safety controls.
C* Construction: Each boiler must be supplied fully
assembled including burners and mo��xle jacket,
individual boilers must be mounted on corrasion -resistant
support legs. Boilers shall be assembled in such a
fashion as to permit access to piping and controls from
the front.
D. Boiler Controlse Each boiler shall be equipped with a
combination gas valve with m�r�ual shut-off , pressure
r'egula,toz'r, and 100°s automatic shut-off. Gas train shall
conform to ASME code CSD -1 and insurance carrier.
EO Bailer Pressure Valve: Each boiler must be equipped with
a pressure relief valve (ASME) . Valve shall be piped to
floor iof bailer drip pan,
F • Drain Cock: Manufacturer shall provide a drain cock for
system water as standard equipment.
G. Pressure Rating: Boilers shall be constructed for 50 PSS
maximums working pressure and shah be foundry tested. in
accordance with ASME Code,
H• Approvals : AoGvA., and ASME approvals must be clearly
marked on each boiler.

to the Owner and completely provided by this Contractor, The
engineer reserves the right to approve any such modification.

the fallowing servicers, at a minimum:

Upon completion of boiler Mart up and safety checker the Contractor
shall provide the following services:
1. Boil --out of bailer and new piping prior to platingin
sex -vice as per ASME code Section 6 chapter 7 and
manufactures recommendations. Including but not limited
to the following:
a. Fill system to operation level and vperat� at
specified condition for at least two -(2) days.
b. Provide a bojLl out compound of caustic soda and
trisodium phosphate,
