DEQ No. 2l-06-33 We reviewed the Rexburg Rowhouse engineering plans resubmitted on July 8,2027 by Connect Engineering. The plans appear to meet State Standards and are hereby approved This approval is for system design only. We will give hnal project approval after it is established that the system is operating properly. Please keep this office informed of the scheduling of all construction phases so that we can make spot inspections as necessary. A copy of the approved drawings will be kept on file at our office. A copy of the approved drawings is attached and another copy has been forwarded to your engineer. A copy of the approved plans and specifications and the approval letter shall be kept on-site during construction at all times. Within 30 days after construction, a professional engineer registered in the State of Idaho must provide this office with record drawings or a letter of certification stating that the project was installed substantially according to the approved design. DEQ has not conducted design review for stormwater plans and specifications and has made no determination regarding whether the plans and specifications include appropriate best management practices (BMPs) to protect ground water and surface water quality. DEQ reviews the location of stormwater conveyances to determine public health and safety issues associated with construction of public water systems. DEQ finds that the location of stormwater conveyances for this project meet the required separation distances to public drinking water features of concem pursuant to IDAPA 58.01.08. Please note the separation distance between the outside of any potable water main and the proposed stormwater subsurface infiltration systems should be twenty five feet (25). If the construction phase of this project is anticipated to disturb one acre or more of land, or is part of a larger project that disturbs one acre or more of land, then the project may be subject to regulations of IDAPA 58.01.25, Idaho Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Rules. Stormwater event that occur during construction should be managed according to the site-specific Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and other requirements of the general permit.
