GLAZING REQUIREMENTS
All glazing in hazardous locations is required to be of safety
glazing material. -- Sec. 24Q6,3 & 24Q6.4
Locations:
1} Glazing in ingress and egress doors except jalousies.
2) Glazing in fixed and slicing panels of sliding door assemblies
and panels in swinging doors other than wardrobe doors.
3 } Glazing ire storm doors.
4) Glazing in all unframed swinging doors.
5} Glazing in doers and enclosures for hot. tubs, whirlpools, saunas,
steam rooms, bathtubs and showers. Glazing in any portion of a
building wall enclosing these compartments where the bottom exposed
edge of the glazing is less than 60 inches above a standing surface
and drain inlet,
G} Glazing in fixed or operable panels adjacent to a Boar where the
nearest exposed edge of the glazing is within a 24 --inch arc oc
either vertical edge of the door ilna cosed position and where the
bottom exposed edge of the glaz-iing is less than 60 inches above the
walking surface.
?} Glaring in an individual fixed or operable panel, other than those
locations described in items 5 and 6 above, than meets all of the
following conditions:
A. Exposed area of an individual pang greater than 9 square zees.

or more.. The minimum size is 22 inches by 30 inches. There must be 30
inches or more clear height above the access. --- Sec. 1505.1

to be not less than 1 square foot for each 150 square fejt of attic
area. The verst area may be 1/304 if at least Seo of the required
ventilating area is provided hy ventilators located in the upper
