Re: Madison High School Water and Sewer Design, Rexburg ID DEQ # 08-12-33
Dear Mr, dyer
C.L. "Butch" Otter, Governor
Tori Hard, Director
We have reviewed the plans and specif cations for the proposed water and sewer systems desi1 gn. Tie project plans and
specifications do not meed State standards and are not approved. The following items will need to be addressed and the
plans revised and resubmitted:
. Reference Plan Sheep AD - 1 ; On the plan profile the reference to the 8-inch sewer Zine needs to be changes to
1 -2 -inch to be, consistent with the plan view.
2. Reference Plan Sheet AD - I3 and AD - 15: The plans sheets do not show how the I 8-icnh vertical separation
distances are going to be met. The pressure sewer and wader line installatrans are at the same elevation. This
needs to be clarified and proper separation detail reference on these pian sheets.
Please be aware that the shallow injection wells for the storm water facflit-N, are required to be inventoried with ire Idaho
Department of Water Res ource SID WR) PES fDAPA 3 7,03,03,03 0. a 1.
Please reference DEQ No, 0$-I2-33 when submitting the revised project plans for.- this project. Ifyou havequestions please calf. any
