You will need a permit. If you will bring in a set of plans to show us what you are doing, then we can help you know what will need to be permitted. When applying, we will require a set of plans with the demolition and the remodel. Commercial work will need to be done by an Idaho licensed contractor. We recently bought a commercial building in Rexburg and we are going to remodel it. Basically new paint, new carpet, new siding. We are going to construct a couple of partition walls and remove a couple. They’ll be no modifications to plumbing. We are Considering adding two exterior windows. Do I need a permit?
