BUILDING INSPECTION SEQUENCE
Type of Inspections: For on-site construction, from time to time the building official, upon nodficaton
from the permit holder or his agent, shah make or cause to be made any necessary inspections and shall either
approve that pordon of the construction as completed or shall nvd#'jr the permit holder or his agent wherein the
same fads to comply with this code.
I . LAYOUT: Lot corners staked, staking in place for building, prior to excavation:

4. PLUMBING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL .
Rough inspection: Comm -only made prior to covering or concealment, before fixtures
are set, and prior to framing inspection.,
S. TRUSS INSPECTION:
Inspections of trusses to see they meet shag drawing requirements and that they are
installed and braced adequately.
6*, FRAME AND MASONRY INSPECTION:
Commonly made ager the roof, masonry, all framing, firestopping, draftstopping and
bracing are in place and after the plumbing, mechanical and electrical rough inspections
are approved. - -•
7. LATH AND/OR WALLBOARD INSPE+CTI(]N:
Commonly made after all bathing and/or wallboard interior 'is in place, but before any
plaster is applied, or before wallboard joints and fasteners are taped and finished.
S. FINAL PLUMBING AND HEATING INSPECTION:
AIS systems in place, fixtures set, ready for occupancy
9. FINAL ELECTRICAL:
Fixtures and wall covers in place. Directory completed in panel box.
10* SINSPECTS:
After forms are seg, prior to placing concrete.

Commonly made after the building is cnmpteted and ready for occupancy .
12.0 OCCUPANCY PERMIT.0
Issued when, an final inspecdon, buildingis ready to occupy.

INSPECTION CARD
The permit holder or his agent shad[ post the inspection record on the job site in an accessible and conspicuous
place to allow the building offttial to make the requEred entHes. The record shalI be maintained by the permit
holder until the fins! inspection has been made and approved.

inspections to be made.
