Standard sidewalk width is 5 fool in new construction. Standard slope is 1/4' per foot to street. 4. Place preformed expansion joint filler at drrvewoy construction and at maximum spacing of 50 feel for new sidewalk construction. 5. 1:12 elope maximum 6. Elevation at bock of walk based upon o slope rate of 1/4' per foot from the theoretical top of curb to bock of walk. Drivaway slope will then be variable matching the bock of sidewalk eievolion and the top of depressed curb elevation.
