have reviewed the plans for the Shop/Study building at the Greenbriar Apartments in
Rex'o-L,-,;,rg, Idaho and have identified the following di screpanc�es.
� . The occupancy of the garage portion vvas reviewed. as 5-3. An SZ -3 occupancy will
not allow any open fl.ames car welding to be performed. Signs �vaxni..ng that 210
open flames or welding ars allowed must be_ osed inside ,garage and mush b�
clearly visible.
2. The occupancy of the gest of the bulZding has been classified as readingllibrazy
area and falls under B occupancy classified as an educational occupancy over the
12th grade.
3 .
One Baur fir -e resistive construction is required to separate the mixed occupanci-es
as per Table 3-B of the'l-994 UBC.
4., The youth wall of the building mush be one hour fire rated. If the buildialrig was
located'such that it. was 20 feet from the South property Zine the South wcould
be built non -rated as per Table 5-A of the 1994 U -BC,
5. Two exits will have to be provided from the upper level as per Section 1003.1 of
the 1X94 UBC.
6. The upstair exits must not be apart less than !12, of the diaot:Donal distance of the
up stars study area.
