1) When the elevator vertical travel is 25 feet or mare, each associated
elevator lobby or entrance area and associated machine rooms shall be
provided with an approved listed smoke detector for elevator recall

GLAZING REQUIREMENTS
All glazing in hazardous locations is required to be of safety
glazing material., -- Sec. 2406.3 & 2406.4
Locations:
1) Glazing in ingress and egress doors except jalousies.
2) Glazing in fixed and sliding panels of sliding door assemblies
and panels in sw'inging doors other than wardrobe doors.
3) Glazing in storm doors..
4) Glazing in all unframed swinging doors.
5) Glazing in doors and enclosures for hot tubs, whirlpools, saunas,
steam rooms, bathtubs and showers. Glazing in any portion of a
building wall enclosing these compartments where the bottom exposed
edge of the glazing is less than 60 'Inches above a standing surface
and drain inlet.
G j Glazing in fixed or operable panels adjacent to a door were the
nearest exposed edge of the glazing is within a 24 -inch arc of

1) Provide an access to all attic meas with a clear height of 30 inches
or more, The minimum size is 22 inches by 30 inches. There must be 30
inches or more clear height above the access. -- Sec. 1505. 1
2} Provide ventilation in all attic areas. The net free vent area is
to be not less than 1 square foot for each 150 square feet of attic
area. The vert area may be 1/30a if at least 50% of the required
ventilating area is provided by ventilators located in the upper
