With an occupancy of approximately 22.0 peenspeensthe testmg center room is in violation of proper exitzxg and egress standards as sed forth in the Uniform Fire and Building Codes,. The northwest side exit doer from the room directs People to a hallway where they must i=ediatel.y go th-rouprh anoe door to aeess a sei to the outside. If a person proceeds too far dawn the hail they come to a locked door to the outside that is only accessible with a fey or special code. Currently this arrangementis confusing and potentially Bang building. Brous, especially with the locked access doors to the outside of the In addition the painted exit signs do not meet the requuements of the Uniform Fire Code. Exit signs must be lighted and visible at all times. The doors used as a.n exit from the besting roan and the door to the stairwell should be a minmum of 44 inches wide to serge the occupant lead, (Currently they are smaller}. Emergency ffiahtingis also required m the hallway areas= The exit gats persons must take from the northeast door of the testm'g center is also lacking in proper est signs and emergency lighting. phis situation needs to be rectified as soon as possible.
