ATTIC REQUIREMENTS*
1) Provide an access to ail attic areas with a clear height of 30 inches
or more. The minimum size is 22 inches by 30 inches. There must be 30
inches
or more clear height above the access. Sec. 1505.1
2) Provide ventilation in all attic areas... The net free vent area is
to be not less than I square foot for each 150 square feet of attic
area. The vent area may he 1/300 'if at least 50% of the requl'red
ventilating area is provided by ventilators located in the upper
portion of the attic. The upper ventilators must be at least 3 feet
above the cave or cornice vents. -- Sec, 1505,3, Exception I
The vent area may be 1/300 provided a vapor retarder having a
