FOR
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR GERALD WHEELER
1. On November 7, 2001, Gerald Wheeler presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request
and Application for Conditional Use Permit on property located at 45 So. 2" a East in the
City of Rexburg, for the purpose of creating an office in a home in an area zoned LDR1.
2. On November 28, 2001, Gerald Wheeler appeared before the Planning & Zoning
Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting the Conditional Use Permit for an
insurance office to be located in the home located at 45 So. 2"' East. The request was
reviewed by Planning & Zoning and noted that the Conditional Use Permit would not be
appropriate, the property would need a zone change. Because the area has been reviewed
previously for a zone change it was suggested that Planning & Zoning review the said
area then make a recommendation as to the best use, this would include either a zone
change to Highway or Central Business District (HBD or CBD) or leave as zoned
recommending a Professional Overlay. This recommendation should be made at the
December 12, 2001, Planning & Zoning meeting.
