On February 21, 2001, Eddie Pincock presented the City Clerk with an Application for
Variance on property located at 163 E. 2' South and a request to be put on the Planning
& Zoning agenda.
2. On February 28, 2001, Eddie Pincock appeared before the Planning & Zoning
Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting a variance to split a lot at 163 E. 2°d
South. The purpose for the split is to accommodate financing for a new purchaser.
By splitting the lot they were approximately 1400 sq. ft. short of the requirements of the
zoning ordinance. Steve Whitfield appeared as a neighbor to Eddie Pincock in support of
approving the variance.
After reviewing the variance criteria and requirements and finding that this request did
not fit any of the requirements and discussion concerning the legalities of allowing a
variance that was not consistent with the zoning ordinance a motion was made and
seconded to deny this request for variance at 163 E. 2"d South.
