Yours truly, CITY OF REXBURG Marilyn Hansen CityClerk FINDINGS OF FACT FOR VARIANCE FOR DARYL OLSEN 1. On March 6, 2001, Daryl Olsen presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and Application for Variance on property located at Lot 10 in the Rosewood Subdivision in the City of Rexburg. The request for variance of setback standards is to accommodate a desired house plan. On March 14, 2001, Daryl Olsen appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting a variance of setback requirements on Lot 10 in the Rosewood Subdivision in the City of Rexburg to accommodate a desired house plan. There was discussion concerning the requirements necessary for granting a variance which this request did not meet. It was determined that even though Lot 10 is of a different configuration, with some creativity a house plan could fit on the lot meeting all the setback requirements. Furthermore, the geographical anomolies were determined to have existed at the time the lot was purchased and did not fall within the definition of having occurred through no fault of the owner, therefore, the request for variance for this house plan was denied.
