ANNEXATION AND ZONE CHANGE FOR AN INDUSTRIAL AREA
On November 20, 2001, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing advertising a
public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission on December 12, 2001, and
a public hearing before the City Council on December 19, 2001, for publication in the
local newspaper on November 26, December 5 and 12, 2001, posted a notice on the
property and sent notices to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned
property.
2. On December 12, 2001, John Millar on behalf of the City of Rexburg appeared before
the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting annexation of an
island of property inside the city limited located at 885 So. Hwy, with the zone to remain
Light Industrial (LI). There was no opposition expressed concerning this annexation. It
was recommended by Planning & Zoning that this request be approved for public hearing
before the City Council as presented.

the City Council of the City of Rexburg requesting a annexation of an island of property
inside the city limits located at 885 So. Hwy, with the zone to remain Light Industrial
(LI). There was no public comment concerning this annexation. It was moved that the
Council take the recommendation of Planning & Zoning and approve the requested
annexation.
