BUILDING INSPECTION SEQUENCE
Type of Inspections: For an -site construction, from time to time the building o#ficial, upon
notification from the permit holder or his agent, shall make or cause to be. made any necessary
inspections and steall either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shall notify

LAYOUT:
FOOTING:
Lot corners staked, staking in place for building, prior to excavation:
Commonly made offer pales or piers are sed or trenches or basement
areas ars excavated. Forms and horizontal reinforcing died in place,
vertical reinforcing cut and on fob site or tied in Qlace.
FUUNDATiUN INSPECTION
_ The foundation inspection shall included excavations for thickened slab
intended for the support of bearing wolfs, partitions, structural supports, or
equipment and special requirements for wood foundations. All forms and
reinforcing steel, etc., shall bein place.
PLUMBING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL:
Rough inspection.- Commonly made prior to covering or concealment,
before fixtures are set, and prior to framing inspection.
TRUSS INSPECTION:
Inspections of trusses..
FRAME INSPECTION:
Commonly made after, the roof, all framing,,
bracing are in place and after the plumbing,
rough inspections are approved. (Electrical

LATH AND/OR WALLBOARD INSPECTION

After forms are set, prior to placing concrete.
FINAL INSPECTION:
Commonly made after the building is completed and ready for occupancy.

In addition to the cabled inspections above, the building department may
make or require any other inspections to ascertain compliance with this
code and atter laws enforced by the building department.
INSPECTION CARD
The permit holder or his agent shah past the inspection record on the job site in an accessible
and conspicuous place to allow the building of#icial to make the required entries. The record
shall be maintained by the Pe- rmit balder until the final inspection has been made and P p d,
have read the above and will comply in my requests for inspections by giving 24 HOUR
NOTICE prior for inspections to be made.

and shad be applied during Site Plan Review descr4ib ed in Section 6.11:
1. Multi -family dwelling;
2. Public and znSiitutional buildings; and

all of the following standards. Other buiiding styles and designs can be used to

feature may be used to comply with more than one standard.

fejt. All buildings shall zncorporate design features such as offsets,
balconles, Projections., window reveals,or sim r elements to preclude

fi--tce of a structure, such features shall occur at a mini.mum of every 4�
feet,, and on each floor shall contain at feast two of the foHowm'g
features:
a. Recess (e.g., deck., patio., courtyard, entrance or similar
feature) that has a mi'ni'mum depth of 4 feet;
b• Extension (e.cr.., floor area, deck, patio, entrance, or
similar feature) that projects a muumum of 2 deet and
