Type ol Inspections: For on-site construction, from time to time the building official, upon
notification from the permit holder or his agent, shall make or cause tLe be made any necessary
inspections and shall either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shall notify
the permit holder or his agent wherein the same fails to comply with this rode.
1. LAYOUT: Lot corners staked, staking In place for building, prior to excavation:
2. FOOTING: Commonly made after poles or piers are set or trenches or basement
areas are excavated. Forms and horizontal reinforcing tied in place,
vertical reinforcing cut and on job site or tied in place.
3. FOUNDATION INSPECTION:
The foundation inspection shall included excavations for thickened slabs
intended for the support of bearing walls, partitions, structural supports, or
equipment and special requirements for wood foundations. All forms and
reinforcing steel, etc. , shall be in place..
4. PLUMBING. MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL:

5. TRUSS INSPECTION:
Inspections of trusses.
6. FRAME INSPECTION..
Commonly made after the roof, all framing, firestopping, draft -stopping and
bracing are in place and after the plumbing, mechanical and electrical
rough inspections are approve. (Electrical inspection performed through
State of Idaho Electrical Bureau)
7. LATH AND/OR WALLBOARD INSPECTION:
Commonly made after all lathing and/or wallboard interior is in place, but
before any plaster is applied, or before wallboard joints and fasteners are
taped and finished.
8. FINAL PLUMBING AND HEATING INSPECTION:
All systems in place, fixtures set, ready for occupancy
9. SIDEWALK INSPECTIONS:
After forms are set, prior to placing concrete.
10. FINAL INSPECTION'
Commonly made after the building is, completed and ready for occupancy.
11. OCCUPANCY PERMIT-,
Issued when, on final inspection, building is ready to occupy.
12. OTHER INSPECTIONS:
In addition to the called inspections above, the building department may
make or require any other inspections to ascertain compliance with this
code and other laws enforced by the building department,
INSPECTION CARD
The permit holder or his agent shall post the, inspection record on the fob site in an accessible
and conspicuous place to allow the building official to make the required entries. The record
sha,il be-, maintained by the permit holder until the final inspection has been made and ap;Droved_

International Energy Conservation Code (IECC)
As per section 102,5 CC) all insulation installed shall have a certificate issued.
the certificate shall be sired and dated fistinthe t o and manufuturer of the
insulation installed. The installer shall also provide the initial installed thickness, the
settled thickness, the coverage area and the number of bags installed for blown or sprayed
insulation. NVhere blown-i'n or sprayed insulation is installed in wars, floors., and
cathedral ceilings, the installer shad provide a certification of the installed density and R -
value. This certificate shall be posted, in a conspicuous place on the job site.
Roof/cei ��ng insuIation
Roof/celling insulation that is blown -in or sprayedshall be identified by thickness
markers that are labeled in inches or millimeters �nstalled at least one for every 3 0O
square feet throughout the attic. The markers shall face the attic access, be affixed to the
trusses 'or joists and marked with the MJRzMMU initial installed tffickness and minimum
seatbickness led with numbers a mXmmum of 1" in height
Windows, doors and skylights
Wl'ndows and doors and skylights shall be graded in accordance with NFRC 100
by an accredited, independent laboiratorv, and labeled and certified bY the manufacturer.

Ducts

Water Heaters
Heat traps are required and or insulation per Table 50-3,33.1
Hot Water Recirculating Systems
Hot Vater Recirculating Systern piping shall have pipes insulated in accordance
with Table 504.5 and Section 503.3.J.2 arzd have a �anua� shut off far when system is
not in use.
Lighting
AIS commercial lighting must comply wqih the IIECC. All rooms in rooms with 2
or more fixtures must be switched for bi level lighting.
