soil was sampled for tesUng as per specifications. Observed fill was pumping due to excessive
moisture, notified cvntrattvr. Fill was scarified and mixed with drier material then re -compacted.

Section.2202: Contractor continued excavating end placing �em�ankrnent for snow storm water
storage areas. Large boulders were encountered across job site. Contractor will work around
them until his excavator arrives 4n site. Material was placed in approximately gr, li compacted by grade, [oaders and end dumps. Cuts ai south end of site crQt� OR
then
approximately 3' vertical face at edge of construction limits. Contractor iS to slope these areas at
a 3:1 outside of construction limits as per Uoyd/BYU Idaho.

Section 25010-1 Contractor excavated for existing sewer tine on W. 7th S. (see attached photo),,
Section 22p2: Contractor began drilling blast hakes for trench eac�ar�atior� dor sewer and wader
lines from Via, �p+pp �o �+4th on the wader fine. (bedrock was encountered from 4Fto 81" below
existing ground) and from existing SSMH to SSMH #1 (bedrock was encountered from 2' to 4'
below existing ground).

Section 2501„ Obseived contractor excavate blasted trench over existing sewer Ione. Upon
opening the trench I and the contractor observed that the blasting had removed a section of the
existing sewer ling, Notified Rich/HK Contractors that it would have to be repaired immediately.
Contractor did not repair the sewer line due to lark of materials. A retention pond and small
beech bei were constructed for overnight (see attached photos).
Note: A(1 materials were places as per pians and speciFcatians.
