BUILDING INSPECTION SEQUENCE
Type of Inspections: For on-site construction, from time to time the building official, upon
notification from the permit holder or his agen#, shall make or cause to be made any necessary
inspections and shah either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shall 'notify
the Dermit holder or his went wherein the game fails to comply with this rode.
I . LAYOUT: Lot corners staked, staking in place for building, prior to excavation -
2. FOOTING: Commonly made after poles or piers are sed or trenches or basement
areas are excavated_ Forms and horizontal reinforcing tied in place,
vertical reinforcing cut and on jab site or tied in place.

The foundation inSDection shall included excavations for thickened slabs
intended for the support of hearing wars, partitions, structural su�p�orts, or
equipment and special requirements for ,mood foundations. Al! forms and
reinforcing steel, etc., shah be in place.
PLUMBING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL:
Rough inspection: Commonly made prior to covering or concealment,
before fixtures are set,, and Drior to frcqminn in-cnar-fion
TRUSS INSPECTION:
Inspections of trusses.
FRAME INSPECTION:
Commonly made after the roof, all' framing,
bracing are in place and after the plumbing,

9. SIDEWALK INSPECTIONS :
After forms are set, prior to placing concrete.
10. FINAL INSPECTION.-
Commonly
made after the building is completed and ready for occupancy.
11. OCCUPANCY PERMIT:
Issued when, on final inspection, building is ready to occupy.
12. OTHER INSPECTIONS:
In addition to the called inspections above, the building department may
make or require any other inspections to ascertain compliance with this
code and other laws enforced by the building department.

The permit holder or his agent shall post the inspection rece jab site in an accessible
and conspicuous place to allow the building offic+ai tom equired entries. The record
shall be maintained by the permit holder until the final inspection h2Sbeen mace end 2pproved.
I have read the above and w111 comply in my requests for inspections by giving 24 HOUR
NOTICE prior for inspections to be made.
