BUILDING INSPECTION SEQUENCE
Type of InsDections: For on-site construction, from time to time the building official, upon
notification from the permit holder or his agent, sham make or cause to be made any necessary
insnections and shalt either approve that portion of the construction as completed or shah notify
the permit holder or his agent wherein the name fails to comply with this code,
1 . LAYOUT: Lot corners staked, staking in place for building, pr�ar to excavation.-

areas are excavated. Forms and horizontal reinforcing tied in place,
vertical reinforcing cit and on jab site or tied in place.
3. FOUNDATION IMSPECTION:

ntended for the support of bearing wolfs, partitions, structural supports, or
equipment and special requirements for woad foundations- All forms and

4. PLUMBING, MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL:
Rough inspection; Commonly made prior to covering or concealment,
before fixtures are set, and prior to framing inspection.

Commonly made after the roof, all framing, firestopping, draftstopping and
bracing are in place and after theplumbing, mechanical and electrical
rough inspections are approved. (Electrical inspection performed through
State of Idaho Electrical Bureau)
LATH AND/OR WALLBOARD INSPECTION
Commonly made after all bathing and/or wallboard interior is in place, but
before any plaster is applied, or before wallboard joints and fasteners are
taped and finished.

In addition to the called inspections above, the building department may
make or require any other inspections to ascertain compliariGe with this
code and other laws enforced by the building department,
INSPECTION BARD
The permit holder or his agent shall posh the inspection record on the job site in an accessible
and conspicuous place to allow the building official to make the required entries. The record
shall be maintained by the permit holder until the final inspection his been made and approved.

NOTICE prior for inspections to be made..
