TO AMEND THE DEVELOPMENT CODE
FOR THE CITY OF REXBURG
Public Hearing: August 5, 2021 at 6:35 pm to be held before the Rexburg Planning and Zoning
Commission (#2100475) to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE (Ordinance 1200) for
the City of Rexburg.
It is proposed to amend the current DEVELOPMENT CODE concerning substantive and
non-substantive items.All proposed modifications to the DEVELOPMENT CODE may be
reviewed at the offices of Planning and Zoning or the City Clerk's office. The proposed
substantive changes amending Development Code Ordinance No.1200 (by section) are
delineated below:
PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE DEVELOPMENT CODE
Amend Chapter 2 Definitions—Added Definitions that pertain to Mobile Vendors and Food Courts
Amend 5.01.020 Mixed Use (MU) Zone Permitted Uses
Amend 5.02.030 Central Business District (CBD) Zone Permitted Uses
Amend 6.01.020 Community Business Center (CBC) Zone Permitted Uses
Amend 6.02.020 Regional Business Center (RBC) Zone Permitted Uses
Amend 7.01.020 Light Industrial (LI) Zone Permitted Uses
Amend 8.02.020 Public Facilities (PF) Zone Permitted Uses
Amend 8.03.020 University District (UD) Zone Permitted Uses
Added Chapter 9.4 Mobile Food Court—Stating Requirements of Mobile Food Courts and Mobile
Vending Standards.
At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed permits. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on August 4,2021. This notice is given pursuant to the
provisions of Section 67-6508, 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code,and all amendments thereof.
