It remains the responsibility of the lumber dealer, Linformation chitect, designer er responsible to review this to assure that opriate, accurate complete. Filler block: Nail with ten f0d (3") box rails, clinched. Use ten 16d Ain) box nails from each side with 31/" TJI9 joist flange widths. Use fifteen nails with TJI® joist depths greater than 16". Backer block: Install tight to top flange (tight to bottom flange with face mount hangers). Attach with ten 10d (3") box nails, clinched when possible. Backer block both sides of web with single TJIe joists Web stiffeners 8" diameter maximum hole for required each 117/811 - 20" joists; 6" diameter side at E1W maximum for gY2" joists or for blocking panels less than 12" I long.
