HomeMy WebLinkAboutWRITTEN RESPONSE - Cox, Dowanna - 355.5 W 2nd S - CUP for dorm. in MDRMEMO TO THE FILE Mr. Fred Caulder, 244 Steiner Ave. called and will not be able to attend the Public Hearing on the Cox CUP. He wanted to register his concerns and see if they could be addressed by the commission. He wanted to state that he is very concerned about the level of trespassing through his property that is going on with the current apartments in the area. His truck is broken into regularly and he would like to petition the commission for some mitigation measures to be attached to the Cox CUP. He would like the commission to require the Cox project to completely fence their property so that their renters cannot physically trespass through his property as it is the fastest way to get to campus. The only way they can access Steiner Ave. is through his property. He does not want this and without the fence he feels it cannot be controlled. He would appreciate a sound reflecting solid wall to cut down on the noise. He is currently being overrun with apartments in the neighborhood and these mitigation measures would help minimize the impact on his property. He hopes the commission will do all they can to assure the existing property owners are not run over by these high density developments. klh
