As indicated thereon, Mobile Home Parks can only be in Medium Density Residential (MDR) or High Density Residential (HDR) Zones and are brought into either Zone under a Conditional Use Permit. Your subdivision plat and the accompanying LDR-2 Zone have been approved by the P & Z Comm. and the City Council. Therefore, you would basically have to start over again if you want to change it to a Mobile Home Park. It would require a change to the City's Comprehensive Plan: it would require a Zone Change from LDR-2 to either a Medium Density Residential Zone or a High Density Residential Zone: and it would require a Conditional Use Permit in that new zone. The next Planning & Zoning Commission meeting will be on Wednesday, December 9, 1998. The following one will be on January 13, 1999. Copies of your Mobile Home Park Plan, etc. would need to provided to my department (for distribution to and review by other city department heads) at least 1 week in advance of the P & Z Commission meeting. You will need to have our City Clerk, Rose Bagley, (Ext. 326) get you on the appropriate meeting agenda. You will need to have her send you the Application For Zone Change and the Application for a Conditional Use. 3.20 P = Permitted Use C = Conditional Use LAND USE TABLE 2.
