TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Upon review of the site plan drawings submitted the following items need to be
addressed:
1. Drawing is inaccurate, property due east of proposed project belongs to
Shelbourne Apartments LLC, not Grandview Townhouse Subdivision.
2. WATER SUPPLY: This proposed project shows two hydrants of which only one
appears to be accessible. The east hydrant is located on the adjacent property that
is currently marginally acceptable for the existing facility.
3. ACCESS: The north parking lot is approximately 458 feet long without
provisions for a fire apparatus turn -around. Code states anything in excess of 150
feet shall have means to turn apparatus around.
4. The areas adjacent to the buildings and along the north side without any parking
spaces shall be marked with "No Parking, Fire Lane" in addition to having the
curbs painted red and maintained.
5. FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM: Plans indicate buildings to be in excess of 5,000
square feet which requires a complete fire sprinkler system according to Rexburg
City Ordinance.
