Bill Hamlin and David Waters performed a pre-dernolition inspection on the
rear of the property: 66 E Main St, A safety barricade was erected to provide
sufficient space to tear down the rear wall of the building. Supervisor Larry Voss
was contacted and given two directives. He was informed to secure access
ladder to roof of building. He was also informed to cover the storm water drain
to reduce the washing away of raw materials.
Another concern arose as to the small space available for the John Deere 610
track hoe that was going to be used for the demolition. Little space was provided
for the machine to move.
The alley behind the building is blocked off, but will be unblocked when the
wall and debris are removed. The local fire and police departments have been
informed of the blockage and have planned accordingly.
