NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING PROPOSED REZONING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning & Zoning
Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday, February 9, 2000 at 7:10 P. M., in the
City Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding the
proposed rezoning to provide as follows:
That the owners of the following described property are requesting that it be rezoned to M.D.R.
(Medium -Density Residential) to allow for multi housing to be built. The property is currently
zoned L.D.R.1 (Low Density Residential).
The property is located on the corner of 2nd East and 3rd South, Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho,
and legally described as follows:
Commencing at the SE corner of Lot 8, Block 4 of the Parker Addition to the City of
Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof, and running thence
North 50 feet, thence West 142 feet, thence South 50 feet, thence West 142 feet to the
point of beginning.
At such hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed rezoning. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 P.M. February 8, 2000.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and
all amendments thereof.
