HomeMy WebLinkAboutFOF 2 - Palmer, Gene - Hidden Valley SubdivisionFINDINGS OF FACT FOR ANNEXATION FOR GENE PALMER - HIDDEN VALLEY SUBDIVISION On September 7, 2000, Gene Palmer presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and Application for Annexation for property located in Hidden Valley Subdivision off North Hill Road. 2. On September 13, 2000, Gene Palmer appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting annexation of property located in Hidden Valley Subdivision off North Hill Road, which property is in the Impact Zone. The preliminary plat for the subdivision was approved and annexation was recommended to go before City Council. 3. The City Clerk published the Notice of Public Hearing in the local newspaper on September 22, 2000, posted a notice on the property and sent notices to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. 4. On October 11, 2000, a Public Hearing was held before the Planning & Zoning Commission.. No one appeared in objection to the annexation of the property located in Hidden Valley Subdivision Phase 2 off North Hill Road. It was recommended that this annexation request be approved and sent to a public hearing before the City Council. On November 2, 2000, a Public Hearing was held before the City Council. No one appeared in opposition to the annexation of said Hidden Valley Subdivision Phase 2. The City Council moved to accept the recommendation of Planning & Zoning and the annexation was passed. 6. On November 10, 2000 Ordinance No. 838 signed showing annexation Hidden Valley Subdivision into the city limits. Said Ordinance No. 838 was mailed to Madison County Assessor, Treasurer, Clerk, Idaho State Tax Commission and faxed to the Rexburg Standard Journal for publication. Stephe Zollinger, City Adorney
