The developer will be paying connection fees that will be used for the expansion of our systems capacities. If you have questions or need further information please contact me at any time. Hill Road Rexburg, ID 83440 Re: Hidden Valley Subdivision Planned Unit Development Preliminary Plat Review, to the City of Rexburg, Madison County; Dear Gene: We have reviewed the preliminary plat for Hidden Valley Subdivision Phase 3. The plat appears to meet state standards, but we, at the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), recommend the following: 1.) A complete set of plans and specifications, for design of the water and wastewater systems must be submitted to this office. The plans must show service connections to each lot. 2.) Upon submittal of the pre -construction plans and specifications, we will require submittal of the applicable DEQ checklists. If the Project Engineer does not have these documents, please do not hesitate to call this office at the number below, such that we, at the DEQ, can supply you with them. 3.) This office receives will -serve letters from the City of Rexburg Water and Wastewater Systems for the increased loads and demands. A copy of the preliminary plats will be kept on file at this office. Hill Road Rexburg, ID 83440 Re: Hidden Valley Subdivision, Phase HI, Water and Sewer System Review, to the City of Rexburg, Madison County; DEQ #: 01-05-33 Dear Gene: Dirk Kempthorne, Governor C. Stephen Allred, Director We have reviewed the water and sewer plans for the Hidden Valley Subdivision, Phase III. The plans appear to meet state standards and are hereby approved with the following conditions: 1.) As per a conversation I had with Brent Harris on June 25, 2001, correct the drafting errors for drinking water and wastewater service to Lots 7, 15, & 16 of Phase III. As well as the Manhole #I elevation corrections. 2.) Maintain the necessary eighteen -inch (18") vertical separation between potable and non - potable water lines. 3.) Maintain the necessary ten -foot (10') horizontal separation between potable and non - potable water lines. 4.) This office received a will -serve letter from the City of Rexburg on June 19, 2001. Thus satisfying the right to connect to an existing system requirement. This approval is for the system design only. We will give final approval after it is established that the system is operating properly. Deviations from the approved plans, which might result in violations of Idaho Regulations, must be reviewed by this office before field installation. This office must be kept informed of the scheduling of all construction phases so that we can make spot inspections as necessary. This approval will expire on June 22, 2002. If construction is not complete by the expiration date, plans will need to be resubmitted for approval before further construction proceeds. Within 30 days after construction, a professional engineer registered with the state of Idaho must provide this office with as -built plans or a letter of certification stating that the project was installed with substantial accordance to the approved plans. A copy of the approved plans and specifications will be kept on file at this office. Please reference DEQ # 01-05-33 when submitting any future correspondence related to this project.
