Permit 405 40160 & OS 04161
The following items are modifications to the Bid Set Plans, as required by the City of Rexburg building
and fire departments. The information below and the drawings attached will be incorporated into the
contract documents.
Building Dept. Review
Item 49 Miscellaneous:
a. Siding 1 Grading detail: The building has a CMU masonry wainscot around the entire
building, which may be in direct contact with the grade.
Item # 10 Energy Conservation Compliance Review:
a. Provide vestibule per IECC. Acknowledged. This will be incorporated into the project as store
front. See attached.
Item #11 Interior Environment:
a. Provide natural ventilation. All occupied spaces within the biii1ding will be vented
mechanically per LUC.
Item # 12 Mechanical Review:.
a. Provide Mech. Details & info. To be provided by mechanical contractor.
b. Heat load & system design req'd. To be provided by- mechanical contractor.
c. Ventilation system shad comply with IMC. Acknowledged.
d.. Roof top units within 10' of perimeter require handrail. Acknowledged.
Item # 1.3 Structural Review:
a. Letter from special inspector. Schiess &Associates as been retained. Letterforth coming..
b. Provide report substantiating 30D0 psf soil bearing. The exiting field is entirely composed of
native soils. The buildingfootings bear an this undisturbed native soil_
c. 4" of gravel is required underslabs. Acknowledged
d. Floor joists & sheathing talc's for mezz. See attached.
e. Post allowable floor bearing capacity. Acknowledged.
Item # 14 ,Accessibility Review:
a. Provide accessible roue to public right-of-way. Acknowledged, Accessible route will
be provided upon improvements Qfpublic right-of-way.
b. Provide accessible lockers. Acknowledged.

After reviewing your file., it was determined you have not had final approval on
the above permit. It is important that a final fire inspection xs completed and approved
before the business can be occupied. If anyone has already moved in then You must grit
your final accomplished immediately or there may be consequences. Under limited
conditions a temporary occupancy may be arranged With the budding orfici
al, but is valid
Only for 3 0 days or, if issued during winter, 3 0 days after ground thaws for landscaping.
If you have already had a final inspection and did not pass then enclosed zs a copy
of the Final Inspection ticket and a list of the item�s) that did not pass the inspe+ction.
Please arrange to have a final fire inspection by calling 716-132 1 so we can clear
your folder and grant you legal occupancy. If you have any questions, please contact me.
