It is proposed that the City of Rexburg would annex several areas into the City. These parcels are high-
lighted

li kited on the attached Annexation History Map. One of these areas is a petitioned annexation by the prop

Sewer service is already extended to the Rexburg Heights ubdi i i n on South Second East and
Poleline Road. Water and Sewer serviceslave been extended south on 5th Wet Street to the Smith and
Luth.y Parcelsthat have petitioned the council for annexation. Parcels included in this plan are as per the
attached map- '
(a) Tax supported municipal services to be provided to this newly ..:gi d area include police, fire and_
th r city services including snow removal, publ.i works and planning and nl g �'nr s.

(c) Fee supported City services; including water and sewer are available from Second east Street and
also along Fifth West Street. The University Parcels have access to City services through cxisting lines ser
icing the University and from ,second East Street.
(d) There is VCrylittle impact to otter local government taxinor districts outside of the Fire Protection
i tri t. The net result is that there is a reduction in tax of appro imat ly $60.04 per $120,000 of taxable
value.
