NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning and
Zoning Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday, September 13, 2000, at 7:30
p.m., in the City Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, and
before the City Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday, September 20, 2000, at 8:00
p.m., in the City Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho,
regarding Annexation and Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan.
The said property is located at 1545 W. 1000 South, Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho and is
described as follows:
Commencing at a point 361.5 feet West of the Northeast corner of the Northwest
Quarter of Sec. 36, Twp. 6 N., R. 39 E., Boise Mer., Madison County, Idaho, and
running thence South 773 feet; thence East 723 feet; thence North 773 feet; thence
West 723 feet to the point of beginning.
At such hearing the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council will hear all persons
and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed approval. The City Clerk will
also accept written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 P.M. September 12, 2000, and
September 19, 2000, respectively.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and
all amendments thereof.

I, TERRY T. WEATHERSTON, being first duly sworn,
depose and say, that I am the printer of THE
STANDARD JOURNAL, a 3 times a week newspaper
printed and published 3 times a week in Rexburg, Madison
County, Idaho; and I do solemnly swear that the
MADISON COUNTY- PUBLIC HEARING 9-13-00
a copy of which notice appears attached hereto, was
published in the regular and entire issue of said newspaper,
and not in any supplement issue thereof for TWO
consecutive issues, the first publication having been made
on AUGUST 23, 2000 and the last publication
having been made on AUGUST 30, 2000
Further, that said newspaper is one of general circulation
in said county; that it is a legal newspaper, conforming to
legal specifications under the Idaho Statutes; that it has at
least two hundred bona fide subscribers living within the
county of publication; and that it has been continuously
and uninterruptedly published in said county during a
period of seventy-eight consecutive weeks prior to the first
publication of the said notice.
