REGARDING PROPOSED REZONING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning & Zoning
Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday, February 23, 2000 at 7:10 P. M., in the
City Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding the
proposed rezoning to provide as follows:
That the owners of the following described property are requesting that it be rezoned to
Industrial. The property is within an Agricultural zone at the present time.
The property is located within the Impact Zone at approximately 2000 North between Highway
33 and the Salem Highway in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and legally described as
follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of Section 8, Twp 6 N., R. 40 East Boise Meridian,
Madison County, Idaho, and thence running North 1295.42 feet; thence East 2632.65
feet; thence South 1236.32 feet to the RR right of way; thence Southwest along RR
right of way to 2000 North; thence West approximately 2573.55 feet to the point of
beginning.
At such hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed rezoning. The City Clerk will also accept written
comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 P.M. February 22, 2000.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and
all amendments thereof.
