This letter is to let you know how I feel about the zoning change regarding
the property at 17 West 1500 North. I realize the new hardware store will be
a fare distance from my home. This does not concern me as much as what
will happen directly behind my home. I understand that change is moving
towards our direction. So I would ask that you apply strict requirements
with regards to a buffer zone. Most of the residents plan on staying in their
homes for a long time.

Re: Zoning on North Salem Road
I am writing this letter in regard to zoning of the Dean Palmer property on North
Salem Road. Part of the property is being re -zoned to allow retail business to be
located there. However, I understand that part is also being re -zoned for residential
use. As an owner of close -by property, I would question the expansion of residential
zoning in that location, as it would only serve to prevent any practical use of the
Property.
If there exists an offer to purchase and develop the property as residential, then re-
zoning as residential is reasonable. In the absence of such a proposal, to zone the
property in accordance with the natural development and goals of the community
seems more logical.
