During that time, you were issued a building permit. Therefore, the fees were miscalculated. An invoice is enclosed showing the amount you were, undercharged. Please review this information and call if you have any questions. Paynlents can be made at City Hall. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. The calculations have been adjusted to ensure this problem will not happen in the future. Sincerely, JaNell Hansen JaNell Hansen Building Safehj Coordinator 19 E. Main Rexhurg, ID 83 440 R 0. May 11, 2005 Mr. dick Evans yans Hairs ling College 3 9 10 Wagon Trail Road Rexburg, Idaho 83440 RJE: Fire flow testing for Evans Hairstyling Center in Rexburg Idaho Dear Rick Evans: We completed the flow testing at the Evans Flairstyling Center site this afternoon. We used the bydrant on the southwest earner of the maul access loop to measure system static and residual pressures. Two hydrants were opened for flow metering. Thefirst was at the southeast corner and the second at the northeast corner of the main access loop. We measured a flaw of 1492 gpm at a residual system pressure of 62 psi with only the first hydrant open. No increase in flow was Found with both. bydrants open. Static pressure before testing was 84 psi. Using a modified Hazen Williams equation calculation recommended by the manufacturer of our flow meter, the expectedpressure at 2 750 gpm is calculated as 1.6 psi. Available flaw in a wader system can vary, widely throughout the day and year based on system. use. Under the instantaneous flow conditions at the precise time the fest was conducted, it was not passible to achieve greater thin 2656 gpm and maintain the required minimum system pressure of 20 psi.
