It is my understanding that the space beneath the addition on the west side of the Clarke Bldg. is going to be crawl
space. In the future, when the church is allowed an increase in the campus net square footage the space may be
used for something else. At that time, it will be upgraded to whatever standards you agree with.
Please don't hesitate to call if you or Chris have any ether questions.

Remodel and Addition
Requested Comments an Review Action !terns
Thank you for taking time Tuesday morning to meet with us regarding the Clarke Building Remodel and Addition Project
and going over the review action items from your letter dated February 24, 2005.
As requested in the meeting, I am writing this letter to respond to some of the issues you wanted addressed regarding the
building project. I will try to address them each separately.
1 . Comment: Provide handicapped parking (including van spaces
Response: This project will not be impacting the existing parking spaces in and around the building.
Currently there are three accessible stalls in and around the building with two more in a sinal! lot just to the
south of the Clarke Building in the Smith Parking lot. These are not being removed by the project.
2. Comment: What will the basement area shown on the west side of the building on page A2.1 be used for.?
Response: This area is now compacted fill with a slab. There will be no basement area.

accommodations are addressed as needed with input from the Office of Academic Lear'naing'
which has
responsibility of working with students with disabilities. The resfrooms within the Clarke Building are
"technically infeasible" to modify and make accessible. This. is why we are creating fire accessible toilet
rooms throughout the building. The lockers are three tiered so there are accessible lockers as well.
1 hope this has addressed your concerns appropriafely. Please let me know if you require further information.
