source of the water heater (e.g., electric, gas, oil). Provide verification that the instructions
for all mechanical equipment and appliances mist be available of the job site. Pleasenote

5. The amount of outdoor air provided by the existing air handling unit has not ben andicated.
To verify that a sufficient amount of outdoor air is being provided, provide a ventilation
schedule indicating the outdoor air ventilaffon rates. Additionally, dual d uct variable vaiume
air loxes are specified to be regulating the amount of outdoor air supplied to the rooms
and spaces. Since the amount of outdoor air appears to be regulated with maximum and
minimum airflow rates, provide verification thatthe minimum amount of outdoor air wil! be
provided to the rooms and spaces when they are occupied_ For example, Laboratory #12G
must be provided with 7g5 cfm of outdoor air (1,060 sq. ff. x 50 occupantsl1,000 sq. ft. x
15 cfmloccupant), Included with the ventilation schedule should be documentation which
indicates which outdoor air rates from Table 4p3.3 of the Mechanical Gale are applicable
(i.e., the occupancy classification from Table 403.3 that most closely resembles the use
of the space) and the occupant load or floor area used to determine the amount of outdoor
air supplied to each space. Provide an aji' balance schedule. (105 , 106 3.11 4 402,
