HomeMy WebLinkAboutFOF - Webster, Wade - 221 W 4th S - Rezone from HBD to HDRFINDINGS OF FACT FOR ZONE CHANGE On July 1, 2002, Ted Whyte representing Wade Webster presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and Application for Zone Change on property located at 221 West 4`" South in the City of Rexburg, said propprty to be changed from HBD (Highway Business District) to HDR (High Density Residential). On July 10, 2002, the Planning & Zoning Commission reviewed the request for a zone change of said property at 221 West 4`" South from HBD to HDR. It was recommended that this request should go to public hearing. 3. On July 23, 2002, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper on July 26, 2002 and August 12, 2002. A notice was posted on the property and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. 4. On August 15, 2002, Ted Whyte representing Wade Webster appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change from HBD to HDR on property located at 221 West 4' South. The general concenses of the commissioners at this meeting was in support of this proposal to re -zone this property and due to a lack of a voting quorum, the request will continue on the 29`" of August to complete the review. 5. On August 29, 2002, the commission reviewed the minutes of August 15, 2002, and moved to approve the request for a zone change to HDR and send the request to the City Council for a public hearing. 6. On August 30, 2002, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the local newspaper on September 2, 2002 and September 16, 2002. A notice was posted on the property and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. On September 18, 2002, the request came before the City Council of the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change on the property located at 221 West 4" South to be change to HDR from HBD.
