HomeMy WebLinkAboutFOF - Stone's Town & Country - 615 S Old Hwy 191 - Rezone from MDR to HBDFINDINGS OF FACT FOR ZONE CHANGE On April 1, 2002, Blake Loveland representing Stones Town & Country presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and Application for Zone Change on property located at 564 So. 5' West in the City of Rexburg, said property to be changed from Medium Density Residential (MDR) to Highway Business District (BBD). 2. On April 10, 2002, Ray Loveland appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change on said property from Medium Density Residential (MDR) to Highway Business District (BBD). It was recommended that this request should go to public hearing. 3. On April 17, 2002, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing before the Planning & Zoning Commission on May 8, 2002, for publication in the local newspaper on April 19 and May 1, 2002, posted a notice on the property and sent notices to 0 property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. 4. On May 8'", 2002, Ray Loveland appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change from MDR (Medium Density Residential) to HBD (Highway Business District) on property located at 564 South 5' West. There was no opposition expressed concerning this zone change. It was recommend by Planning & Zoning that this request be approved for public hearing before the City Council. 5. On May 156`, 2002, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing before the City Council on 5th, 2002, for publication in the local newspaper May 17'h and May 31°` , 2002, posted a notice on the property and sent notices to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property. 6. On June 5d', 2002, Ray Loveland appeared before the City Council of the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change on property located at 564 South 5' West in the City of Rexburg, from MDR (Medium Density Residential to HBD (Highway Business District). There were no public comments expressed. It was moved and unanimously approved that the Council take the recommendation of Planning & Zoning and approve the requested zone change.
