RE: Annexation and zone change from RR to MDR for 786 S 1500 W, Rexburg
Dear Sir'
The property listed above is the last lot in a sub division that has been approved as Rural
Residential. To approve one lot of a subdivision for a change in zoning is not compatible
with rest of the neighborhood_
Please note that in the Comprehensive Plan for Rexburg our sub division is rated for
single dwelling and that is what we want to remain.
In the recent past our neighborhood has had to adjust to changes that are being made in
our immediate vicinity. We have done our best to compromise with dignity to the
changes, but the change listed above is just a little much. Surely you can leave our
subdivision in tact as Rural Residential.
Our family has enjoyed the fact that we live in the county and do not have the high
density of living that is found in town_ We feel that by making the zone change for this
last lot you will be opening our subdivision to many of the reasons that we bought
property in the county to avoid.
We strongly urge that this annexation and zone change are not passed.
