NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the Planning & Zoning
Commission of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Thursday, September 05, 2002, at 7:10 p.m., in the City
Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding annexation and a
zone change from Madison County zoning to Rexburg zoning.
These properties are located on 7' South, 12' West, West Highway 33, and Airport Road in Rexburg City
Area of Impact, Madison County, Idaho, and is described as follows:
Parcel #1- Lamoreaux Annexation including US 20 - (990 West T° South)
Proposed Rexburg City Zone - Medium Density Residential (MDR)
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the S 1/2NE1/4SW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 6 North, Range
39 East, Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho; and running thence South 1716 feet; thence
N89d47'53"East 218.02 feet' thence S0500'04" West 265.31 feet to the South Section line of said
Section 25; thence East along said Section Line 314.78 feet more or less to the East right -of way line on
Federal Highway 20 (State Highway Project F6471(41); thence northerly following the East Right -of way
of said Highway along a non -tangent curve concave to the West, with a radius of 20,342.05 feet, a Chord
Bearing of NO3d22'01"E and a Chord Length of 1985.03, along said curve 1985.81 feet; thence
S89d47'28"W 624 feet more of less to the point of beginning.

All of Those Lands in the SW Quarter of Section 13, Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise Meridian,
Madison County, Idaho; not currently within the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho.
Parcel 93 - Valley Wide CO-OP Annexation - (Approximately 12' West Highway 33)
Proposed Rexburg City Zone - Highway Business District (RBD)
Commencing at the Northwest corner of section 25, Township 6 North, Range39 East of the Boise
Meridian, Madison County and running thence along the North section line N 89°4933" E 2080.77 feet;
thence S 06'10'32" W 697.28 feet along the East right of way line of Highway 20, thence S 8949'33" W
2001.32 feet to the West line of section 25, thence N 00°22'00" W 693.00 feet along said West line to the
point of beginning; Containing 32.47 acres.

Commencing at the NE corner of the SEI/4NW 1/4 of Section 24, Township 6 North, Range 39 E. B. M.,
Madison County, Idaho, and running thence West a distance of 701.52 feet, more or less, to a point in the
line common to the properties of the said T. E. Baker and Genevieve Baker, his wife, and the Idaho
Transportation Board for the Division of Highways; thence in a Southerly direction following said
common line a distance of 490.63 feet, more or less, to a point in the line common to the properties of the

Township 6 North, Range 39 East, Boise Meridian, in Madison County, Idaho, and running thence North
300 feet; thence West 726 feet; thence South 300 feet; thence East 726 feet to the point of beginning.
At such hearing the Planning & Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and
recommendations relative to such proposed approval. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at
City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on September 4, 2002.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all
amendments thereof.
