HomeMy WebLinkAboutMAILING 12.19.2001 - Henderson Subdivision - Annexation & Rezone to R1 & HDR2NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the City Council of the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday, December 19, 2001 at 8:25 p.m., in the City Council Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding Annexation. The said property is located on 1500 West in Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho and is described as follows: Beginning at a point that is South 00°17'06" East 1649.88 feet along the North-South center section line and North 89°49'50" East 1319.88 feet and South 00°16'48" East 147.82 feet from the North quarter corner of Section 25, Township 6 North, Range 39 East of the Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho, and running thence South 00016'48" East 841.69 feet; thence South 89048'44" West 749.21 feet; thence North 00°16'29" West 966.74 feet; thence South 39°17'26" East 130.08 feet; thence North 89°43'31" East 13.88 feet; thence South 60006'25" East 50.00 feet; thence North 89°43'31" East 610.13 feet to the point of beginning, containing 14.63 acres. Beginning at a point that is South 00°17'06" East 1649.88 feet along the north -south center section line from the north quarter corner of Section 25, Township 6 North, Range 39 East of the Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho and running thence North 89°49'50" East 1319.88 feet; thence South 00°16'48" East 147.82 feet; thence South 89°43'31" West 610.13 feet; thence North 60°06'25" West 50.00 feet; thence South 89°43'31" West 13.88 feet; thence North 39°17'26" West 130.08 feet; thence South 00016'29" East 966.74 feet to the east -west center section line; thence running along said east -west center Section line South 89°48'44" West 570.58 feet; thence North 00°17'06" West 989.93 feet to the point of beginning containing 15.36 acres. The property owner is requesting the property be annexed and zoned Low Density Residential I (LDRI). The Planning and Zoning Commission has forwarded this matter to the City Council - with a recommendation that the entire parcel be zoned Low Density Residential 1(LDRI). At such hearing the City Council will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to such proposed approval. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on December 18, 2001. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and all amendments thereof.
