FOR
ZONE CHANGE
1. On April 18, 2002, Eric Earley presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and
Application for Zone Change on property located on the North side of 7'" South and
3`d West in the City of Rexburg, said property to be changed from High Density
Residential (HDR) to High Density Residential Two (HDR2).
2. On April 24, 2002, Eric Earley appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for
the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change of said property from High Density
Residential (HDR) to High Density Residential Two (HDR2). It was recommended that
this request should go to public hearing.
3. On May 1, 2002, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the
local newspaper on May 3`d, and May 15", 2002. A notice was posted on the property
and sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property.
4. On May 22, 2002, Eric Earley appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for
the City of Rexburg requesting a zone change from High Density Residential (HDR) to
High Density Residential Two (HDR2) on the property located on the North side of 7'
South and 3rd West in the City of Rexburg. There was no opposition expressed
concerning this zone change. It was recommend by Planning & Zoning that this
request be approved for public hearing before the City Council.
On May 30, 2002, the City Clerk sent the Notice of Public Hearing to be published in the
local newspaper on May 31, and June 12, 2002. A notice was posted on the property and
sent to all property owners within 300 feet of the above mentioned property.
6. On June 19, 2002, a request for a zone change was presented to the City Council of the
City of Rexburg on property located on the North side of 7' South and 3`d West from
High Density Residential (HDR) to High Density Residential Two (HDR2). There were
no public comments expressed. It was determined that HDR2 zoning was compatible
with planned growth in the area. It was moved and unanimously approved that the
Council take the recommendation of Planning & Zoning and approve the requested zone
change.
