NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing will be held before the City Council of
the City of Rexburg, Idaho, Wednesday January 22, 2003, at 7:40 p.m., in the City Council
Chambers of the City Building at 12 North Center, Rexburg, Idaho, regarding a zone change
from LI (Light Industrial) to OS (Open Space).
The said property is located between the Railroad Tracks and 0 East near 295 North 0 East in
Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, and more particularly described as follows:
Tract I:
Commencing at a point that is 933.52 feet S 89°44'47"W of the SE corner of the NE Quarter of
Sect 19, T6N, R40E, Boise Meridian, Madison County, Idaho and thence North to the center of
the South Fork of the Teton River; thence following along the center of said river to the East line
of the Eastern Idaho Railroad right of way; thence following said right of way in a Southwesterly
direction to where it intersects the South boundary line of the North half of said Sect 19; thence
N 89044'58"E 923.05 feet to the point of beginning.

All of Lot 2, Block 4; All of Lots I and 2 of Block 5; All of Lot 2, Block 15; All of Lots 1 and 2
of Block 14; and commencing at the Northwest comer of Lot 3, Block 14 and running thence
East 25 feet; thence S 30°36'00"W 49.11 feet; thence North 42.27 feet to the point of beginning,
TOGETHER WITH ALL platted city street adjoining said lots and blocks located North of the
South line of said Block 14, as abandoned by the City of Rexburg. EXCEPTING FROM SAID
TRACTS OF LAND the Eastern Idaho Railroad right of way over and across the Northwest
corners of Lots 1 and 2 of Block 5, and Lot 2, Block 14, all of which lies in the Original Rexburg
Townsite of the City of Rexburg, Madison County, Idaho, as per the recorded plat thereof.
At such hearing the City Council will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations
relative to such proposed approval. The City Clerk will also accept written comments at City
Hall prior to 4:00 p.m. on January 21, 2003.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 67-6509 and 67-6511 Idaho Code, and
all amendments thereof.
