Yours truly, CITY OF REXBURG Marilyn Wasden City Clerk FINDINGS OF FACT FOR ZONE CHANGE 1. On January 17, 2002, Mark Andrews presented to the Rexburg City Clerk a Request and Application for Zone Change on property located at 100-120 W. 1500 North in the City of Rexburg, said property to be changed from Highway Business District (HBD) to Medium Density Residential (MDR). 2. On February 13, 2002, Mark Andrews appeared before the Planning & Zoning Commission for the City of Rexburg requesting the Comprehensive Plan be changed on the above mentioned property to multi -family. It was recommended by Planning & Zoning that this matter be sent to City Council for public hearing on the Comprehensive Plan with a change to multi -family. 3. On March 14, 2002, Mark Andrews appeared before the City Council for the City of Rexburg requesting the Comprehensive Plan be changed on the above mentioned property to multi -family. It was moved and approved by the City Council that the requested change be denied and the property in question remain as it presently is on the Comprehensive Plan in that if approved it would create an island in the middle of commercial and single family. n Stephei Z Inger, City AtQney
