HomeMy WebLinkAboutLETTER - 06-00173 - 246 W 2nd N - RemodelCour existing water line comes into our basement roughly 17 feet from the south wall or 5
feet from the nosh wall. We do not know which route the water line takes to get into the
basement and instead of trying to chase dawn a leak that very well could resurface further
down the line in upcoming months/years; we propose to dig a new trench from the miter
to the house (roughly 45 feet).
We would then run I inch 2Q0 nasi poly pipe from the meter to the south walk, then drill
through the wall and 90 over to a new 31 inch ball valve inside the south walk, roughly 21
feed from the east wall.
We would then come out of the new valve with 3,/. 'inch copper over to the newt stud and
90 up roughly 7 feet to the ceiling joist. We would then run the 3/4 inch copper about 10
'IF,
feed along the ceiling joist, anchoring the pipe at 2-3 locations and 90 back through the
ceiling joist and 90 into the existing 3 inch line that feeds an exterior faucet.
