Dear Chris,
This letter is in response to the memo from Rexburg-Madison Emergency Services
(atta-ched) concerning the Westwood Theater and dated Mar
Ch 175 20Q6. The Westwood
Theater buil ding is an existing structure that was used throughout its entire histo as a
theater. The current use �s that of a theater. Section 3403.1 of the 2003 Tn�exn.at� nal
Building Code (MC) skates: "Portions of the structure not altexed and not affected by the
alteration are not required to comply with the code requirements of a neer strueture'
Items 1 , 2.1 3 , b, 0 75 I 0, � �, 12, 1 14 and 16 of the dire Department's dist are what r

Upon request from the manager of the Westwoo
d Theater located on
Main Street in Rexburg, Idaho awalk-through fire inspection was recently
conducted. Items that require attention include the following:
1. Fire suppression system throughout building and/nrqPnarAfinn of
combustibles (sneetroCk),,
Provide fire alarm system.
Provide adequate exiting for occupancy.
Replace/repair all exit signs,
Provide fire extinguishers throughout building:,
Provide one-hour enclosure around air handling units.
Provide fire rated doors throughout occupancy.
Repair/replace all egress lighting throughout building.
Provide a standpipe for the newly constructed
