Meets code requirements.
Wall and ceiling finish musf meet the
requirements of IBC Section 8Q3.
Review of the parking requirements are as
follows; Mama K - requires 50 spaces,
Chiropractor office and Hawaiian Sun require
15 spaces, Heart, Mind and Soul (lounge only)
requires 33 spaces. The total required is 98
parking spaces. The site pian identifies 122
spaces. That will leave 24 spaces for the
Heart, Mind and Saul large open roam. As an
assembly occupancy and depending upon the
use, the tactors from Table 1 OrO4.1.2 identify the
occupancy load in a range from 42p to 14p,
depending upon the use. Required parking for
the space would be in a range from 1,05 spaces
to 35 spaces, depending upon the use. Parking
does not meet the requirements for the space
as an assembly occupancy.
Five handicapped parking spaces are rewired
for the lot.
The exits from the large open space do not
meet the requirements of the 20x3 Internation,f
Building Code sections 1003.6, 1
1008-1.2, 1008.1-8-31 1 1x'13.4.2,
1013.4.2, 'f414.2.1, 1Q17. 1, and 1(}24.x. identify
exit signs and emergency exit lights,
Occupancy load must be pasted in both main
spaces.
Either a sprinkler system or a firebarrier wall
between the major spaces is required as
currently configured_ It a fire barrier wa!l is
utilized, then penetration through that wall must
meet the requiremnts of IBC Sections 712 and
716. The ceiling must be protected with 2
lyres of 518" Type X drywall and all
