There are code issues that need to be addressed by Alpine Jeweler Building Owners and Bingham and Sons. Technically, the building that is being constructed would not be allowed next to the Bingham and Sons building unless the entire wall of the Bingham and Sons building is fire rated. We need to have a meeting with Bingham and Sons, yourself and the City of Rexburg Staff. Special inspections are required for concrete foundation and any structural fill.
