RE: PLANS FOR SCOTT GARDNER RESIDENCE
To Whom It May Concern:
I have included two sets of structural calculations including important items for nroner
construction of the subject residence. These items will also make clear to the Contractor.
These items are included on two sets of structural calculations. I am not a registered engineer ire
Idaho. I am registered in Nevada, California, Oregon and Hawaii. I hope you will accept these
calculations for trry Sans home.
Along with the calculations I have also included two copies of the latest Simpson Catalog, page
150, for the .connections for lateral suppart of the gable end truss. They required 45 -degree, braces
at 4' OC.
All other important items are highlighted on the structural calculations. I have marked one set of
Plans with all required information,, For example the basement retaining wall shows no
reinforcing or required footing. Window headers shown are not adequate for two $' window
openings. These are only a few of the things included on the marked up plan set.
